Philippians 4:8: “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Thus far in our series on doubt we have talked about a number of different things. For example we have talked about the fact that doubt is common. If you have or are experiencing doubt in relationship to the Christian faith you are not alone. Doubt is anything but atypical for a believer in Jesus Christ. We’ve also talked about what you should do if you are experiencing doubt about the unique reality of Christianity. And about what you should do if you are experiencing doubt about your own salvation, about the genuineness of your own salvation, if you are not quite sure whether you are saved or lost.
