Now before you go and get all judgmental let me explain!! Tonight at the college bible study group we talked about a book we are reading as a group called Heaven Is a Place On Earth.. In this book the author talks about not wanting to go to the "heaven" us humans depict.. We place ourselves in the clouds with halos and white robes, or playing harps and floating around.. But this is not biblically true, heaven is going to be on our recreated earth.. So we had a great bible study surrounding this topic... We talked about all the things we would have (ex. cell phones, cars, television) and things we may not have (husbands, wives, kids). We got in depth and the conversation was awesome!! I had a lot of questions and they were all answered.. It's awesome how one line in a book can inspire such a great bible study.. For those of you who are not regulars at the college bible study, you should join us!! We need other points of view and we embrace new members.. You have to be funny though b/c we like to laugh.. no I'm joking.
Now onto our Danisms.. Dan is a member of the college group and he has these rules of life. These are must know rules on how to survive in the real world.. and what women want!! (lol).. I will be writing a Danism every week.. If Dan is nice enough to bless us with them!!... K so Danism #1. If you are going to Detroit make sure you have a two wallets, one with everything in it and one with only twenty dollars in it. Hide the wallet with everything in it and put the other wallet in your pocket, this way if you get robbed you can give them the "fake" wallet, they will be satisfied and you did not lose anything of importance: such as credit cards, big money, or an I.D. This is a wonderful rule of life!!
Before and after bible study a number of us hang out.. and do fun things of course.. Today was a good day.. we threw a b-day party for Heffer (Heather Axe).. We waited in our hiding spots for 40 minutes waiting to jump out and surprise her.. Needless to say it was Amazing!!.. And then we threw a going away party for our buddy Anael (Ana elle or An YELL if you're Steven). It was and overall good day!!..
